QualiWORLD Zoomable Document Browser Prototype Experiment

The video presents a BCI – actuated document browser embedded in a commercial Assistive Technology software (QualiWORLD). The user can navigate between the View Menu of the browser, where he can select a number of controls (zoom in/out, scroll up/down and left/right), and the webpage, where he can select any of the embedded links using the Auto Scan mouse mode of QualiWORLD. The subject takes advantage of a 2 – command Mental Imagery based BCI. One mental task pushes the neurofeedback bar to the right. When the threshold is reached, the currently scanned element (either a link or a control button) is selected. The second mental task is used to switch between the View Menu and the webpage, in the same fashion.
